Learning Observed

Today we completed a Running Record on Ameerah to assess her reading capabilities. She scored 92% for accuracy and was able to answer all comprehension questions correctly to show her understanding of the story.  However, she made no attempt on unknown words when she could be applying her letter sound knowledge to decode words.

I wonder if Ameerah enjoys reading at home? And how does she solve unknown words?
