Learning Observed

For iExplore today Ameerah was part of the “Creating” group. She chose to work with playdough. I asked her about her creation. She told me that it was Christmas tree and Santa would be happy with it. She also showed me the presents under the tree. Each playdough present had a carefully wrapped button inside of it.

Ameerah paid careful attention to ensure that each present contained something.

Ameerah was Connecting an experience she had at a Christmas in order to create this. She was able to work consistently at this task (Managing Self). Ameerah decided on what to create and then went about making it (Thinking).
